2 Peter 1:3-4

3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,

4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

What has He GIVEN us?
G – The indescribable GIFT and Gifts from
above

2 Peter 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and Jesus Christ our Lord. Corinthians 9:15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

I – Imputed righteousness

2 Peter 1:1 To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ: 2 Corinthians 5: 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him

How are we made righteous in Christ?
What can you thank God for in terms of what unrighteousness He saved you from?

V – Victory

2 Peter 1:11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 John 2:14, 5:4

What victories are you thanking God for this past year?
Why should we give things even when circumstances don’t go well in our life?

E – Everything Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 in everything, give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
